2     Call for Nominations for the District’s Honor Roll of Resource Influencers ; Beneficial Soil Organism

7.1   Agricultural Stock Pond Program: Update on the development of a countywide agricultural stock pond program, including permit streamlining, in collaboration with Loma Prieta RCD, the County of Santa Clara, and other agency partners.

7.2  Farm and Ranch Solid Waste Disposal Program: Discussion and possible action to authorize the Executive Director to submit a CalRecycle Illegal Disposal Site Abatement Grant Program application for abatement of the Clayton Road site.

7.3  Tule Elk Habitat Project: Discussion and possible action to authorize the Executive Director to execute a cooperative management agreement with Santa Clara University and the University of Oklahoma to develop and implement an ancient DNA sequencing protocol designed to determine the genetic similarity of historic and prehistoric elk in the south and west San Francisco Bay Region in collaboration with the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay Area. 

7.4  Watershed Education and Technical Assistance Program: Discussion and possible action to authorize the Executive Director to submit a U.S. Department of Transportation Culvert AOP Program partnership application to facilitate fish passage barrier removal within the Guadalupe watershed.

8.1 Board Meetings: Discussion and possible action to set the time and format for in-person Board of Director meetings, which are scheduled to resume in March 2023.

8.2  Financial Services: Discussion and possible action to authorize the Executive Director to execute a letter of engagement with Eide Bailly LLP for financial audit preparation at an estimated cost of $15,000.00. 

Consent Agenda:

5.1 Adoption of a resolution to allow continued remote teleconference meetings due to COVID-19 emergency.

5.2 Authorize the Executive Director to execute the agreements for the CARCD Wildlife Conservation Board grant award received for the Los Gatos Creek Watershed Restoration Project.
