2025 RCD-NRCS Local Work Group Meeting/Soil Health Education Event

The NRCS-RCD Local Work Group (LWG) brings together a diverse group of people with agricultural and natural resource interests to discuss and develop recommendations for local natural resource and conservation priorities and criteria for activities and programs delivered by USDA and the local resource conservation districts. This year’s meeting is co-hosted by the North Santa Clara and Loma Prieta Resource Conservation Districts, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Farm Service Agency (FSA).  This year's meeting will be held at 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. on August 21, 2024 on a working organic farm in Gilroy, California, and will be followed by an in-field presentation on cover crops from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Please join us to provide feedback on State and local resource priorities and attend an in-field presentation on cover crops at an organic farm. Local agencies and organizations will be on hand to share information regarding resources and opportunities available for Santa Clara County agricultural producers.  The address is on the RSVP link.
