The North Santa Clara Resource Conservation District (NSCRCD) is excited to announce a logo design contest for students in seventh through twelfth grade. The contest closes on October 1, 2024.
NSCRCD is a local government agency dedicated to the preservation of agricultural lands and the conservation of natural resources in northern Santa Clara County. Through collaborative partnerships, education, and outreach, we help educate our communities about the importance of healthy watersheds in protecting our natural resources for current and future generations.
Our organization is looking for a logo that represents our agency’s commitment to resource conservation and community engagement, particularly in those communities that are historically underserved. We believe that by involving students in this creative endeavor, we can inspire innovative thinking about natural resources and community engagement, foster a deeper connection to our natural surroundings, and empower students to become environmental stewards by taking an active role in helping conserve our natural resources.
North Santa Clara RCD (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
members of the public. As part of this commitment, the District strives to provide an accessible website compatible with
the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, AA, and commercial screen reading software. Features of the
website are created to allow individuals with vision and other impairments to understand and use the website to the same
degree as someone without disabilities.
