GCRCD is governed by a volunteer Board consisting of 5 Directors. Division 9 of the California Public Resources Code provides for the Board of Directors to be elected to their positions, but because of the County of Santa Clara costs associated with biennial elections, the GCRCD Board of Directors adopted a resolution in 2004 allowing appointment by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. Terms coincide with General Election years, and filing deadlines for appointment are established by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.

Website Accessibility Policy
North Santa Clara RCD is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, North Santa Clara RCD
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
